Bluebonnets in March

Bluebonnets are a characteristic sign of spring in Texas, and luckily for us there is a field of them not far from where we live!

Of course, it was also a great opportunity to snap a few mama and son photos while we wandered among the beautiful flowers. James was very intrigued and kept asking to pick them!

And I couldn’t help but get a few photos of him with the Easter bunnies I recently made for him. 🙂 He usually doesn’t take to stuffed animals but he’s given them names and clutched them the whole ride to the bluebonnets!
