Every time I manage to find a moment to write down these monthly updates, it always strikes me as odd how different each month is from the last. If I were to compare one month of child development beside another, it would be much like putting two colors beside one another and attempting to name the similarities. Blue beside yellow; and this month is certainly yellow. Vibrant and joyous, every emotion in the spectrum magnified.
A few developmental updates:
-Crawling. James is fast now, and I do mean fast. He’s mastered the crawl now, so I am extra vigilant of his explorations because he can pull himself up on anything now, which means daily mini heart attacks for me.
-Teeth. James cut four teeth this month all around the same time. He was a little fussy when cutting them, but nothing unbearable. The little rabbit now has a total of six teeth.
-Baby babble all the time! One sweet aspect of James’s development is his language. He is adding words to his vocabulary daily, which is pretty fun for us.
-We walk together, and not just in the stroller now! I’ll hold his tiny hands and he will walk with me, wobbling this way and that. It’s funny to watch, and good practice for the future!
